Is there a dress code?

The reception has a Bridgerton-esque. Garden Party theme. Please dress in your best floral patterns, pastels, lights/brights, and/or bold colors!

Do we need tickets for the graduation?

No, students may invite as many guests as they wish and no tickets are required.

Where should we park at the graduation?

There is no parking located in the Arena, however, there are several parking garages nearby and guests can be dropped off in front of the Arena at the Bearcat statue. In addition, there will be a golf cart shuttle available from Corry Garage (2529 Scioto Ln.) to take one family at a time to the Arena entrance as needed. Corry and Calhoun garages will be free and open to the public.

Are the venues accesible?

Fifth Third Arena is fully accessible. Additionally, The Columns (reception venue) has an elevator.

Where should we stay? 

Recommended hotels are on the Travel page of this website. If you choose a hotel outside of these recommendations, we recommend the Clifton, OTR, Downtown, Oakley, or Hyde Park areas. Newport and Covington in Kentucky are also excellent locations.

What items are permitted in the ceremony?

  • UC has a clear bag policy. Guests can bring one clear bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” or a small clutch bag or wallet  into the arena. 

  • Backpacks, camera cases, oversized purses and other large bags are not permitted.

  • Balloons or outside food or drink are not permitted.

Where should we park at the reception?

Valet services and/or shuttle buses will be provided.
